RECENT PROJECTS
inCamera 2008-09:
A series of improvised live audio visual works using content gathered from the audience and video-sampled to create an evolving experimental story.
Reflections 2008-Melbourne Urban Screens Conference:
Created a site specific real time documentary for the urban space. Documentary footage was remixed live and displayed on a large jumbotron LED display.
Sentimental Plastics 2007
A commissioned project addressing plastic bags in the urban environment using documentary, VJing and plastic upcycling workshops.
Design Led Futures: NIke 2007
Directed and edited documentaries about student projects from the Design Led Futures class at the Victoria University of Wellington School of Design. The documentaries were created to present the design outputs to Nike.
Still Here 2005
Still here is an experimental digital cinema installation. which allows the viewer to explore memory through light. The story is an exploration of the memories of a woman who has chosen to become a multidimensional being through genetic manipulation. the user is placed in the future, accessing memories through light.
Solarcoustics:CONNECT 2004
Solarcoustics:CONNECT is a solar powered personal electronic device. It stores and converts light energy into audio oscillations. CONNECT is a low power, low cost interactive audio device that allows people to experience new applications for sustainable technology.
Quadbox-video based musical instrument 2004
The Quadbox is a musical instrument which uses miniature video cameras as sensors to map light to musical gesture. Four discrete control channels create a unique and enjoyable user experience.
Director, Queensbridge Windpower Video 2004
Queensbridge Windpower is a short form documentary about a project by artist Andrea Polli. The Windpower project is a vision of sustainable energy in New York city by installing wind turbines on the Queensboro bridge.
